01 Nov PRESENTATION BY ISRAELI LAWYER AT UN IN GENEVA
Yaniv Moyal, Family Lawyer in Geneva at the UN. He has come with the civil society CCF, Coalition for Families and Children of Israel. Yaniv discussed how difficult it was to present on the internal affairs in Israel. This was shortly after the conflict in Gaza, and he describes how the main subject is only about the Palestinians. Three years after the first visit to the UN, Yaniv talks about better preparation and also that the UN delegation were better prepared than before. He says perhaps the UN feel that Israelis have political avenues for reform that the Palestinians do not have. He is still satisfied that the issues were raised on an international platform. August 2014. He believes that the West needs more awareness on the issues, who currently fund Israel. He describes Israelis as being prisoners in Israel, with no help from the media.
