LAWYER LEADS FIGHT AGAINST SUPREME COURT CORRUPTION IN JERUSALEM

Fathers Rights Protest 6th November 2016. Supreme Court Jerusalem. Yaron Meydan, Family Lawyer talks about how the Supreme Court are holding fathers rights back, and this protest is to fight for the right of shared parenting. This was the first protest by fathers, with many women in attendance who believe in the rights of the father. The Tender Years Doctrine still has not been changed, despite the success of Ccf Israel (Coalition for Children & Families) who campaigned in the UN in Geneva in 2011. In 2011 following their first meeting in Geneva, a UN rapporteur did visit the country, and strongly recommended a change to the Tender Years Doctrine, which in Israel indicates that ALL children in divorce are handed to the mother, whether or not fit for pupose – aged 6 and under. Israel is the last country in the Western Democracies to abolish this law. It was still being discussed in 2017.
